A performance on the very diverse noise protection regulations in Bern between 1628 and 2012. Many sounds have been forbidden during the last centuries, like singing and shouting in the streets, motor noises, carpet beatings and even the barking of the dogs. Starting in the theatre, during the performance the doors at the back of the stage are opened. The audience walks with me outside to bring these forbidden noises, that have been silenced by law, back in the city. Processed recordings are played loud through two big loudspeaker horns, attached to my arms. They can move in all directions and a choreography of sound projections is created during a performance.
